Why 2C-B is the best psychedelic for beginners
Today, I'm going to talk about one of my all-time favorite drugs ever, and that is, of course, 2C-B.
If you're unaware...
2C-B is a phenethylamine, and it's chemically analogous to Mescaline, the active ingredient in Peyote.
I am eternally grateful to my lord and savior Alexander "Sasha" Shulgin for blessing us with this beautiful molecule.
Besides Mescaline, DOM, 2C-T-2, 2C-E, and 2C-T-7 β 2C-B is one of the Magical Half Dozen, which according to Sasha, are the most important phenethylamine compounds in existence.
While you can enjoy it on its own, 2C-B is very much like the Himalayan Sea Salt of psychedelics in that it can be synergistic & complementary with other psychedelics.
People often combine 2C-B with MDMA for a "Nexus Flip," but one should experience 2C-B by itself to appreciate its unique personality and vibe.
Personally, I think 2C-B is the perfect beginner's psychedelic.
Before I explain why it's the perfect beginner psychedelic...
I must confess that I was not fortunate enough to purchase some 2C-B legally from my local gas station when it used to be legal for a brief period.
You heard that right.
In the mid-1990s, 2C-B was actually sold by a German pharmaceutical supplier named Drittewelle as an aphrodisiac.
Specifically, it was used for the temporary alleviation of male impotence and female frigidity π
In other words...
Since 2C-B can increase libido & tactile sensations, and because the product packaging contained a couple engaging in sexy time, people purchased Erox purely for partying and getting their freak on π
Back in the day, only a handful of people knew about 2C-B, but thanks to the internet and pop culture, it's gaining in popularity.
I mean, even Kanye West mentioned it (along with DMT) in 2018 on his track entitled Yikes.
Don't worry, 2C-B is not at fault for Kanye's instability as a human being.
That's an entirely different conversation altogether π
So...
You might be asking yourself...
What does 2C-B feel like?
First, I want to clarify that everything I'm saying here is based on a moderate dose of 2C-B, regardless of form like 2C-B HCl or 2C-B HBr, etc
Yes, like many drugs, if you take heavy doses, things can get weird, including with 2C-B β trust me, I know π«£
2C-B produces euphoria and increased visual, auditory, olfactory, and tactile sensations, but such a description doesn't do any justice to the joy that is 2C-B.
2C-B also lets you really express music through your body.
Thus, splendid music is very much a necessity during any 2C-B session πΆ
The best way I like to explain 2C-B to people is by making a comparison to their previous experiences with both MDMA and LSD.
Assume that a 10 represents a peak.
Now, REDUCE the euphoria of an MDMA peak from a 10 down to a 4.
Then, REDUCE the visuals of an LSD peak from a 10 down to a 5.
Now, COMBINE the two together, and you have a great approximation of the 2C-B experience.
The duration of the experience is roughly similar to psilocybin or magic mushrooms.
But, here's my favorite feature of 2C-B:
Other than not showing up on drug tests β It's virtually impossible to have a bad time while on it.
Yes, there are always exceptions, and 2C-B can sometimes be unpredictable & induce nausea, etc.
But unlike LSD or Psilocybin, it's very unlikely for someone's trip to go from happy to a scary death spiral unexpectedly.
Meaning, with psychedelics like LSD or Psilocybin, the spectrum of what your mind can experience & where it can go is far greater than 2C-B.
With 2C-B β psychologically speaking, you're more likely to be stuck in the same "happy place" than traverse beyond it.
The headspace of 2C-B is considerably more forgiving than LSD or Psilocybin, so you have plenty of time to just enjoy the music, warm tingles, and the π₯ visuals.
With all the fun tessellated visuals, it might even feel you're in a 1970s nightclub or inside a video game.
The tolerance build up is also very slow, which means, unlike MDMA, you can even layer more 2C-B and re-dose multiple times before noticing any tolerance issues.
This means you have a true psychedelic that's FUN, has a better safety profile than MDMA, lasts just as long as psilocybin mushrooms, all without a comedown!
As a bonus, it also has therapeutic effects.
Did I mention there's a very low probability of having a bad time?
I can only get so erect.
That's why I consider 2C-B to be the best beginner psychedelic over everything else.
Because it introduces a beginner to the psychedelic landscape gently.
Many would disagree with me, but I stand by it π

Funny, Iβd forgotten that what comes to you when you take a psychedelic is not always a revelation of something new and startling; youβre more liable to find yourself reminded of simple things you know and forgot you knew β seeing them freshly β old, basic truths that long ago became clichΓ©s, so you stopped paying attention to them.
